Waterborne Systems

Emulsification is all about mixing an immiscible substance into a liquid, usually water. The proper word is not ‘mixing’ really, it’s dispersing. The trick is to use an emulsifier and other chemicals that assist dispersion. Some enable or improve the dispersion; others prevent the dispersion from becoming unstable or too foamy for example.
