Proviron opens office in Hangzhou
On Tuesday 17 May 2011, Proviron CEO Wim Michiels signed a first agreement to start activities in the city of Hangzhou - China. Since August 2011 Proviron is actually present in China where it intends to sell finished products as well as buy raw materials on the Chinese market. Vanessa Doms is leading the office.
TransfarPolis Incubator in the province of Zhejiang has been chosen as the location for the office. Zhejian is a sister province of the province of West Flanders. Choosing Transfar as a partner has resulted from Proviron's participation in the West Flemish economic mission to Zhejiang, as well as from its participation in the 2010 Shanghai Expo. Both parties were brought together through the kind offices of the 'Provinciale Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij West-Vlaanderen'. The start of the Proviron office has become reality less than a year after the two companies met.
