Phthalic Anhydride Plant

Proviron Basic Chemicals (PBC) operates a 102 KTA phthalic anhydride plant, the largest single unit in Europe. The unit is integrated with a 65 KTA esterification unit for C1 up to C11 esters, currently producing DMP and DEP.

PBC is strategically located on the Plassendale chemical site just near the international port of Ostend in the heart of Europe. The facilities are adjacent to the chemical triangle ‘port of Antwerp, port of Rotterdam and the Ruhr area’. The site has efficient local access to road, water, rail and air transport networks.
